Got a phone call at 7am this morning saying Dad had fallen during the night and was being taken to the hospital again. The carers said he seemed fine, but he had wet himself whilst he was on the floor and it had soaked into his bandages and they were concerned it might cause an infection. A few hours later I had a call from A&E to say he was being admitted in for observation and possibly being x-rayed to check for any other damage. I haven't heard anything since so I'll call the care home tomorrow to see if he's back or not.

Had our Christmas gathering this afternoon/evening. Bowling and a meal, all wearing our Christmas jumpers and even had the added bonus of Father Christmas handing out our presents!! It was such a laugh, fantastic night. But now my back is really suffering. The bowling really didn't help it!
