Tree Time

Christmas time is here, by golly... well, it's nearly here, anyway...

Today we went out to Craigie Farm in South Queensferry and set about choosing our Christmas trees - one for the house and one for the garden. We tied them onto the top of the car and - rather gingerly - drove home.

The indoor one is quite tall and slima dn of a variety that is expected not to shed too many leaves. The outdoor one would shed, but has a much nicer, broad shape.

Guess who got 'em the wrong way round, and had then to try to get the broad, shedding one that was way too big to fit through the doors, out into the garden? Yeah, me...

Once that was eventually resolved, however, Marie and the kids decorated the tree while I... went out into the rain to take a photograph from the driveway. Hmm...
