Day 6

This morning the elf suggested we make use of Midget's new "binoclears" and go find some elves in an elf hunt, so me and Himself readied the shot guns before we were informed it wasn't THAT sort of hunt...

Met up with Midget's best friend and her elf tinsel and all was well until about halfway round. I was concerned a number of my extremities may succumb to frostbite and BF was decidedly not herself (it later turned out the poor lamb has caught yesterday's stag beetle and had a rather high fever). We found all the elves though, raided the cake stall, attempted to knock an elf off the shelf and then headed out for more elf fun!

This time off to see some other friends, make crafty things for Christmas presents (if you're one of Midget's aunties practice looking surprised!) and hang out with a couple more elves named Olaf and Olaf, because if you're sisters you can't have differently named elves obviously!

All in all a good but exhausting day, I only actually thawed out after having a bath so hot that would make a lobster sweat and the child needed Simon's cat and food when we got home to help ease the tiredness meltdowns!
