The best laid plans

Today was meant to be a day spent with the family back in Essex, but thanks to the multi million pounds worth of 'improvements' at the Dartford crossing we spent more time looking at traffic on the M25 motorway than we should have done. However, little time is better than no time at all and we managed to exchange cards, presents and good wishes before returning home only to battle with more traffic chaos.
I'd taken a container of hyacinths for my sister - she'd bought me an identical one!
