Bothie kids

Today I had the pleasure of attending the first birthday of The Bothie, the community-owned and led facility in Kintore, and the unveiling of the public art project that the young people and the community have been working on for the last six months. It was a super afternoon with a good turnout, which was helped by the cold crisp weather. Needless to say the refreshments has a seasonal slant with mince pies to the fore! I don't often work at the weekends but it was no hardship today when participating in such a positive event.
