Ashridge Estate

It was freezing today. So, rather than stay in the warm indoors my wife convinced me to head out to Ashridge Estate :)
The sky was blue and the sun was out but my fingers were numb from the cold taking photos.
Got home and made some fairy cakes with my daughter whilst my wife went out Christmas shopping (I dropped many hints about a new lens for my camera!) and then tried making ciabatta. Fairy cakes came out well. The ciabatta.... less said about that the better. Oh well. Will have to give it another go.
Off to watch X Factor (I am forced to of course..... cough).
