Another lunch
Okay, okay, I know I've posted almost exactly the same picture before but the light at lunchtime is just so lovely at our dinner table. How can you not pick up your camera when this wee face is looking at you like that?
Nice chilled out day. The morning was spent doing our usual eating, napping and a trip to the shop. We also took our broken Kenwood down to Dalry to let the man in Wallaces do his thing and replace the broken pinion (apparently).
N, G and R came to visit in the afternoon. It's great to see the babies hanging out together, especially as R is that bit more advanced than Dexter. I could see Dex watching him and getting ideas.
Unfortunately, dinner time wasn't fun. Dexter wasn't happy at all and I got a bit stressed. It's difficult to know what to do when, on one hand, you're being told to make sure mealtimes aren't a stressful time as that's how babies can get fussy "Try to remember that your job is to provide the right foods for your baby; whether or not they are eaten is up to him". But then on the other hand, I'm being told because he's still not putting on enough weight, to make sure he eats plenty, (but don't worry! he's fine!) Gargh!
When Sam got home, he took one look at me and told me I didn't look well - hugely bloodshot eyes. I was glad I left it til he came home before we embarked on the bath and bedtime routine. I just didn't have the strength left.
