St John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church

Since many of the lectionary Scripture lessons in Advent include those describing John the Baptist, I thought it appropriate to photograph this church that bears his name. To me, this is one of the architecturally beautiful structures in this area. It's located in Myrtle Beach. We often go to the Greek festival there in October. Tours of the church building are available, and the beauty of the inside is nearly indescribable. Please try it large.
