High Tide, River Mouth

The old railroad track isn't really curved--it's the panoramic elves that have made it look like another ride at the amusement park. I'm standing on the trestle over the San Lorenzo River, looking out towards Monterey Bay. The river, usually narrow, has filled the available space and spreads out to the right, between the rides and the ocean. I think the green structure is called the Log Ride, but I'm not really up on the names of these things. I've only ridden the merry go round and the bumper cars. I just like the shapes and colors and the graphics. There is a stand called the BoardWok that sells sort of Chinese food.
