Black and white challenge, day 4. Sooty and Sweep

The sweeps finally arrived (the younger one, I had taught English years ago!) Tons of Carbon and one limping, sooty wasp later and I have braved lighting the fire for the first time this winter. Scooby has been delighted and a little perplexed with this new revelation.

The boys are off for ages now. I won't see them 'til Tuesday and it's just too bloody long. However, I have had a lovely chat with the best nephew in the world and subsequently made a whole new link around this Blip world.
