Ambient Santa

Taken at the end of year salon & dinner with the camera club. I was just too tired to edit & upload last night.

I did very well, getting silver in the Portrait section, and Nature, and gold in the Photojournalism & Monochrome categories. I also shared first place in the Fun competition. So, a good result.

I told my boss that I would have to leave my job in the new year when I begin the radiotherapy. She said that she could try & get someone in temporarily, but it might prove difficult getting someone who would be prepared to do that. But she said that when I'm better I could go & see her, & if she has anything available, I'd get the job. She's been very understanding, & I hope to be able to work for her again in the future.

Thanks so much for all the comments re my diagnosis, & it's amazing how many blippers, and people I've met, have been affected by this type of cancer, and have gotten through it. You're an inspiration.
