Sandy beach...and street...and windows...and place

Woke up this morning to flooding in my driveway and on my street after 24 hours of the wind and rain from a nor-easter.

A while later, I heard the big machinery up on the beach. The storm had blown so much sand over the sea wall into the street, it was blocking the boulevard.

I love living at the beach! It's exciting when the weather is all worked up. The energy level is raised when the barometer falls.

Clean up will continue for days as the heavy equipment cleans the streets and sidewalks. Weeks from now, this photo will tell the story but I know that months from now, I'll be finding sand in places that will remind me of today.
