Diving Pelicans

We had a huge school of fish in the bay this morning which attracted a number of pelicans looking for lunch. It was quite the show as they dove repeatedly into the sea and then sat on the surface consuming their catch. I wish I had taken my "big" camera but all I had with me was my point and shoot, so it was considerably more difficult to get shots. I did, however, manage to capture this series, though I wish I had kept the camera in the same place. No matter how I cropped and arranged the three images, I couldn't get the boat hulls to line up in this composite.
