Da Battery Banks

Another fine day of mostly sunshine but very cold and a snowy sleet shower at lunchtime.

Still a bit under the weather but at work today, luckily as there are still folk off sick! The day passed quickly in the museum with less folk around and plenty to be getting on with. Not much time to myself today, with all this illness, I'm having to cover the night shift in the museum too and again all day and night tomorrow. Extra pennies will always be welcome before Christmas :)

I had a fine walk around Lerwick this lunchtime but it was freezing! I walked to the Knab and then along Da Street before heading back to work. Just seconds after I snapped this photo of the Battery Banks at the Knab, the heavens opened and a sleety snow shower started. I got very excited but no luck, just a peerie shower that didn't even cover the ground.
