Broken

Beautiful but cold day, so with my back feeling a lot better I ventured out for some fresh air and exercise this afternoon.

I explored a lane I'd never tried before, hoping to find a good view, but it soon got very muddy so I turned back. I'll try it another time, when I'm wearing my walking boots.

I did come across some very old rusty barbed wire woven round a gate, but in the end plumped for this poor old dead tree that reminded me of a giant stick insect. I wish someone would put it out of its misery and chop it up for firewood!
