Moscow had a sprinkling of snow last night. Amazingly, it's the first snow since my blip on 20 October.

The lack of snow this year is wreaking havoc on the farms. Without a blanket of snow lying over the autumn wheat sowings, the seedlings are at risk of being frozen to death.
