D Is for Drums

This is a string of drum lights that I bought at a thrift store years ago. Well they don't actually look like this, I decided to go a bit abstract for this photo.

I have the piano music to "The Little Drummer Boy" and Laura used to play it often during the Christmas season. The story is about a young boy who had nothing to give to the Christ Child except to play his drum. He played his best, and the baby smiled. A nice example of sharing your talent with others, whatever it may be. You make others happy, and usually yourself as well.
