Food Carving Demonstration

Somewhere in the South Pacific, en route to Fakarava, French Polynesia -- The last in a long series of days at sea for our voyage.

This afternoon, we were entertained on the pool deck by Ernesto -- the Chief Carver in the Culinary department -- and several of his colleagues as they competed in a vegetable and fruit carving competition. Here are the results of their efforts! Amazing how quickly they produced these amusing sculptures, and when you consider they did it whilst wielding sharp knifes on a rolling deck, I think they all deserved to be declared the winner.
