Primer Coat Done....

This morning I went with Number one son to his building society to sort out his mortgage as his fixed term came to an end about a year ago and he's was on the base rate and as it can't be long now till the bank rate starts to rise, so he wanted some stability for some years, so we went into various scenarios and came away with a ten year fixed rate for not much more than he was paying fr a variable rate., not bad going.

Then we went over to the house to give the lounge it's first coat of emulsion and the ceiling too, by 17:00 we were finished and came away for tea at home.

We can now see the finishing line where this house is concerned at long last.

Tomorrow I will order some lawn turf for the front garden and a couple of lengths of guttering.
