An interesting evening at Derby's Quad.

It's our 'art house'cinema/gallery. PhotoForum's open session this evening, an opportunity to ‘expose yourself’, photographically, in front of an audience and get feedback. I participated purely as a spectator; I hadn't been to one of these sessions before and didn't know what to expect. Here, we are looking at prints from two photographers, one a photography student, the other a 'beginner' who never takes her camera out of the house unless she's on holiday. (I know a song about that one!)

It was certainly very interesting and thought provoking for me. Some of the photographs on show were amazing, some less so. It has made me think very hard about what I want, what I do and why. If only I knew what any of the answers are.
