Cloudy...

It was strange today, looking over our river the low racing clouds looked at times like snow, snow is forecast but has, as yet, eluded us.

Cloudy was how my thoughts have been these few day, but tonight there was some truly joyous news, friends announced the safe arrival of a beautiful baby girl. A little late, a woman's prerogative after all but everyone is reported well and I cannot tell you how this little bit of news lifted my spirits. The new little lady is so lucky to have been born into an extended family of wonderful people and as I said to mum and dad, hold on tight its going to be a hell of a ride.
