Not an easy day and so when Alex invited me to join him and his photo students on a trip to Ortakoy this afternoon, it didn't take me many nano seconds to decide to accept! Ortakoy is such an interesting, diverse and thriving area of Istanbul - such fun to take photos there and good for soul and sanity to switch off for a while this way.
