Sit down in a darkened room...

After the trauma of yesterday evening today was hard work. A family drama didn't turn into a crisis but with an 87 year old ma-in-law you can't take chances. So today while MrsDB salvaged the remnants of last night's disorder I made it to about 2 o'clock then decided to take a break from bookwork and watch some old films on TV. I plonked myself down on the settee in front of a glowing coal fire, closed my mind to the grey world outside and drifted into the start of this 1952 non-epic, missed the middle and gave up trying to follow what little bit remained. I don't think I missed much - in every sense!
