Most people open an advent calendar, I opened the door to the laundrette for the first time. What a treat, dry sheets and towels and 20 minutes alone to finish my book and eat a twirl. Oh my days! A couldn't understand how the advent candle differed from a birthday candle and tried desperately to blow it out. E was ecstatic this morning shrieking "it's Christmas" and demanding her Frozen advent calendar for breakfast.
