day is done, gone the sun

I admit that I am not a fan of the short days of December, but I do like seeing the moon on our afternoon walks.
The cloud dispersing behind the moon looks like the smoke from a just extinguished candle, making me think that the sun had just been blown out and it was time for the moon.
