Fire and Ice

For those of you who live in warmer climates, the bottom picture is something we call ice. I-C-E. Rhymes with not nice. The rushing water becomes solid when the temperature drops below freezing. (32F.)

Yes, we did have some sunshine today. But, the problem with our winter sun..is that it doesn't work. It heats up nothing.

My daughter and son-in-law have rented a huge dumpster while they are remodeling their house. He offered me the chance to bring some stuff in. I took 2 loads, mostly wood paneling, big mirrors, and doors.

On my way home, it was hard not to notice the setting sun. I rushed (5 over the speed limit!!) to catch it. As you can see, I just missed it. But, the rolling waves were fun to watch.

Glad I caught the sunset. My second blip choice? The inside of the dumpster. Trust me...the picture was pure trash.
