Michael Wallace, Notary

I was cataloguing the Laing Charters again today and noticed this one written by the notary, Michael Wallace. Usually, notaries of the 16th century drew patterns or devices with their names written in small letters. Michael, however, wrote a very clear signature in a bold hand.
