Orrest Head

Said a sad goodbye to Brimstone and moved onto Rumdoodle this morning and decided to have a rather more leisurely day after yesterday's adventures!

A wee wander round Blackwell Arts and Crafts House, which was quite beautiful and quite fascinating - I could have spent ages in the White Drawing Room - and then up to Orrest Head viewpoint to look down over Lake Windermere. Unfortunately not the best weather again but at least there was no rain!

A wee wander around Windermere ended up with cider and nachos outside under a heater watching the world go by.

Then back into town later on for cocktails - outside again! - and the most amazing meal at a fab fish restaurant. Never eaten fish like it - quite gorgeous and we ended up rolling back down the hill to our bed!
