CONCRETE BARRIER
These are the new Lyme Regis sea defences that run to the East of the town. The Council are intent on keeping the sometimes-angry sea separate from the slippery slopes that might otherwise discard the Charmouth Road carpark, and eventially the Charmouth Road itself (and its inhabitants) into the hungry sea.
It was a beautiful sunny morning and the sea was calm as could be, but I thought a grey scale better suited the subject. It looks pretty imposing and is totally serious about its purpose in a 'no-nonsense' kind of way. I'm convinced, anyway.
