A cold day and night

We've managed a few sunny walks today but it's jolly cold now. So, have lit the fire to warm the downstairs before going out to our Christmas staff do tonight. Hector loves toasting his sides in front of the stove. When he gets too hot he jumps onto the sofa where he'll stay all evening.

Was late into work this morning as I forgot to factor in the icy windscreen and windows! Then they had closed our lane to re-surface the road without prior notice of a diversion. Not a good start to the day! However have managed to get the car washed this afternoon so have ended the day better.
