It's back!

I love seeing this tree in Cupar at this time of year. It’s a thing of beauty in the darkness.

Was over at Jean’s for our usual Tuesday film night this evening. I’d finished work late so hadn’t had time to eat but Al had made Cottage Pie and texted to see if I wanted him to bring some for me – which I did! I am liking him being on holiday – last Tuesday he brought some Coq Au Vin over for my tea. The cottage pie was delicious and then I had a couple of Jean’s homemade mince pies for pudding. Had a choice of cream or evaporated milk to have with them – opted for the latter, such a taste of childhood that is! I don’t normally like mince pies but Jean’s ones are glorious – it might be the amount of booze in them that makes them so divine.

Tonight we watched “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café” which I had last seen about 20 years ago so couldn’t remember much about it. This was good though because I had forgotten “whodunnit” so that surprise wasn’t spoiled!
