Swamp

Himself was up before the crack of dawn and out looking for an interesting sunrise and I got a cuppa in bed. It was colder and greyer than forecast but things improved during the morning and I went out and about delivering cards and extracting payments.
I dropped some things off in TJ's letterbox and by this time the light was amazing coming over the mountain. I was in the middle of nowhere blipping a lough when another car stopped and another photographer got out. We had a short but very interesting conversation once we had established who we were and where we were from. Topics included light, colour and reflections; Warwick castle ; emigration ; St Vincent de Paul (a charity), the recession; facebook, the delights of rural living and my brooch (one of yours MMoo!). His name has been niggling away at me and on reflection, I don't think he was just any old photographer! Crikey!
Returning I was in an out of the car admiring the clouds but this old tree, stranded at low tide had a nice swampy feel about it, and some interesting colours.
