Hill of Barra

Had to be in Oldmeldrum early this morning to switch on the heating in the house we are selling there, ready for a viewer. Mist was rising as the sun shone after an extremely frosty night !
In the distance is the Iron Age Hillfort of Barra. The battle of Barra took place in May 1308 near the hill.
In the foreground of this picture on the right is the Old Railway Station building, recently turned into a hairdresser shop.
