3rd Door of Advent Calendar: Happy Reindeer!

Let me first thank for Mari for your splendid idea of Advent Calendar here in blipworld!

You see we finns tend to count down the 24 days before Christmas by using Advent Calendars. The idea is to open one Calendar door every day in December. Traditionally these calendars are a cardboard pictures, which have small doors to open and you find a new small picture inside the door. Or some calendars have small chocolates or small toys inside them - but you also can buy a lottery ticket kind of calendar and scratch one "lottery door" every day...

So I decided to make a Blipfoto Advent Calendar. A speciality is that I try to include also some videolink to it - every day - telling some story relates to the subject chosen;)

Today in the blip there is this lovely decoration reindeer bathing in sunny (!!!!) table of the office in the noon (yes, long shadows at 12.00). And apparently he has eaten all the chocolate (or was it me?)

Stunning to see some sunlight for a moment at these longitudes, some +3c today, in sunny spots, but freezing in the evening. Could skate home on black icy roads.

The videoclip today is a marvellous scene from summer in northern Finland. An Angry elredly Daddy is almost having a stroke as reindeers are having relaxed walk around their car.

In the authentic videolink you have a good possibility to learn hard swearing in finnish, as those three men are trapped in the reindeer-surrounded car. The men are in hurry getting into the direction of Kuusamo and one of the men is so pissed off... He simultaneously would like to drive over the reindeers, but he also is aware that the animal can kick the car and the reindeers here are property of landowners...

I have to tell you, that I laughed so much for this elderly man and the situation: There is really nothing you can do if reindeers are on the road ;)
