Progress

This morning a Travis Perkins lorry arrived with a delivery for the builder. The lorry was too big to get through our gates, so everything had to be lifted, by a crane, over the perimeter wall into our garden. Apart from the lorry being too large to get into the garden, the other problem was the height of the wall and the telephone wires; there was only just enough clearance to get the large bags of building materials between the two. The bags of cement had to be carried round into the garden by hand; he was not able to lift them, on their pallet, over the wall.
