Fresh

Just picked and all from my garden.

Sometimes symmetry works.

Work Christmas lunch today including the revealing of the Secret Santas. Santa was pretty thoughtful and chose well. Lots of laughs and then back to work.

Uncharacteristically I finished with a truffle. I still feel queasy, just too rich for my constitution :-/ Tomorrow's lunch will feature a salad based on this bowl of greens.

On the way home I picked up my new glasses. I've entered an age where I now have my first pair of progressive lenses. Sort of weird seeing the transition from close to medium to distance vision. I was supposed to try them tomorrow when my eyes are fresh, but I've been trialing them.

Overall they're a revelation of vision but I'm finishing my blip without them. I can have too much of a good thing ;-)
