La Boheme

We saw La Boheme at the San Francisco Opera. It is grand old space. Built in 1932, it underwent major renovation after the 1989 earthquake. It was 36 years earlier, in 1896, that Puccini’s La Boheme was first presented in Turin, Italy. We have seen it many times, but it is always a wonderful experience.
