A helping hand

Today I've again had the help of Kate, a Gardens Department colleague, to continue the task of going through the whole garden checking accession numbers and identities, listing what needs to be recorded or labelled, to avoid losing any data which is so important to the collection. She will be here for the next two days too. I'm usually pretty careful to record all information about plants on the database, but some things slip through the net or sometimes number tags fall off or are otherwise lost.

This has really come about since the NTS has realised that I will be retiring some day and wants to make sure that everything that can be recorded is recorded. This is a job that I've been wanting to do too, but it's a great deal easier with two.
