Early start to set off to Queenstown, where an action packed few days were ahead of us! Arrived around lunch time, staying at a lovely camp site just near the Gondola's. Went to Vudu cafe for lunch on the waterfront and watched the jet boat setting off a few times, then cake from Ferg Bakers before heading on to the jet boat....very fast 360• spins, close calls at the bank and bridges, but best of all amazing scenery....a spin around the lake and up two rivers, one of which was deep and one very shallow (10cm!) , great fun!
Then in a requirement to not feel quite so unfit, me and Kate walked to the top of the gondolas, which was a steep, scrambley trail up the side of the mountain bikers trails. Then rode the gondola back down after taking in the view! Out for a very nice meal with Kate, Jenny and Jess (rib eye steak and white chocolate, orange and blueberry bread and butter pudding)
