King Neptune's Court

Last night, we crossed the Equator without King Neptune's permission, and this morning he came aboard the Mariner to exact punishment on all the "slimy polliwogs" (people who had not yet crossed the Equator) who had dared to disrespect him.

Several hapless crew members were led out by "pirates" to be judged by the King and his wife. Some had the "barber" deal with them, "shaving" and "cutting" their hair and beards, then covering them with goo and slime before "throwing them into the briny" (a.k.a. the pool area's hot tubs!) Others were dealt with by the "butcher" who "operated" on them amidst great spurts of "blood" (ketchup), torrents of "intestines "(sausage links), and other slimy gore. Afterwards, all guilty parties had to "Kiss the fish". Here you can see the shenanigans as they wound to a close, complete with the kissable fish being held up by the "nurse".

Great fun was had by all!
