Back to Zurich

I took David to see Zurich today - which he thought was the capital until I informed him it was Bern. Last time I was here I saw most of the city on a tour bus so it was nice to be back with a visitor to see inside the gorgeous churches, climb the cathedral, walk the halls Einstein walked at the Federal Institute of Technology, wander around the old town and of course see Switzerland's largest indoor Christmas market in the train station with its dazzling Swarovski crystal tree.

We got back to Basel and decided to go visit Strasbourg tomorrow. I think the themes of this weekend are fast becoming Christmas markets and last minute travels!
