explained!
As I left Bonds Bridge car park after the lunchtime walk yesterday, there was an artic with a load of what looked like girders & timber entering, there was already a large digger in the car park also. I thought the surveyors had taken me at my word!
Today there was more activity, a barge had been built. When I asked one of the men what they were doing, he said "clearing a lock of bushes & branches along the river banks", his colleague said "don't say that, she'll know you're from Fermanagh".
I laughed to myself, don't get me wrong I like the Fermanagh accents (after all I have many family connections to Fermanagh & often visit Fermanagh), but it is an easy one to recognise, I don’t think he realises!
