From the aircraft

After stamping my passport, the immigration officer at Mumbai's international airport asked me when I had last been through immigration in Mumbai - I mentioned the date of early October to him - he smiled and said that he remembered stamping my passport then - it was very good to hear that - as many hundreds of people might be passing by his desk every day...I thanked him and I do hope I will see him again...

We were flying from Mumbai to Goa when I took this picture from the aircraft. It was a very clear day and there were no clouds.

Northamptonshire: 6 degrees; Mumbai: 29 degrees and Goa: 33 degrees - all within a space of 24 hours.
