Hurrying home
I got my head down repairing while Catherine fought on the phone with two electricity companies. It's easy to switch! I think not. Our old company refuses to refund us the large sum they accumulated by estimating and never reading our meters. They say they are waiting for confirmation of the final reading from the new supplier who assures us it has been sent. Both refuse to accept responsibility. Impasse! That takes all morning on hold and being shunted from one wrong person to the next. They should pay for business time lost! It puts my minor repairing frustrations into perspective! The weather was foul and the market stallholders deserved a medal for staying as long as they did. By late afternoon everyone just wanted to hurry home.
