The long suffering burghers of Port Appin have at last got something to celebrate - street lighting! Well they will have when I fathom out how to wire the damned things up. Eight shiny new lamps have been acquired at great expense (or if MrsDB asks - for next to nothing) but upon opening the boxes I found no instructions. I suppose the sort of railway modellers who buy these things are adept at miniature electronics. The likes of me and my bus modelling ilk are assumed to be unworthy of instruction. Maybe they'll go back in the box for the Ardrishaig Extension. Sorry Port Appin - better offer….
