Change of Plan...

We were supposed to be having a day Christmas shopping but got a text from Ele on the way home last night from the awards ceremony, asking if we wanted to go to their's for dinner. It's ages since we've visited them as, with Alan's wheelchair, it's always easiest if they come to us, but for a wee change we said yes.

Alan was quite excited as in the past he loved going upstairs to Andrew or Jennifer's bedrooms and watching TV or listening to music. Sadly he's just to big and heavy to carry upstairs now (as is his wheelchair) so he had to settle for watching TV in the kitchen, rather than listen to us blethering in the living room. And it's a sign of how time has moved on as neither Jennifer or Andrew were at home as they were both working!

Lovely afternoon, great dinner then home to bed.
