If I keep still, you won't see me.

This greater spotted woodpecker kept perfectly still as it clung on to the post, but with his vivid colouring it was more difficult not to see himher! It was bitterly cold this morning, perhaps because it came as a bit of a shock. There was a great deal of activity in the nature reserve as the birds were flying around perhaps trying to keep warm too.
