How to Train Your Fire

Or rather, how to train your managers to train a fire. Having decided that we did rather well at putting out a fire, it was time to send us on a course to deal with fire. A nice little course which ended with us getting to put out a bucket of diesel behind the fire station. Kiwi health and safety in full swing... the fire was lit in a carpark, with parked cars in it, by a man with a burning rag, while school children watched from 5 feet behind us. Life here is so common sense, it's fantastic!
