We should have sold it on Ebay

K was doing a clear out on Sunday and we decided to get rid of an old lamp base that had been his parents and were holding on to for sentimental reasons. It's quite a cool lamp having a 1960's/70's design feel to it, made of ceramic but it just didn't fit anywhere in our little flat. Anyway after offering it to some workmates who didn't want it he brought it into a charity shop on Leith Walk. I took the photo because it's sitting in the window next to the clock...they are charging £25 pounds for it!! It needs to be fixed as well, I know it's going to charity but really? I'm hoping it will find a good home but it got me thinking...maybe we should have sold it ourselves and made a few bob...
