Early morning yoga
We got up for a 7am yoga class this morning. It was actually quite good and lasted for just over an hour and a half. There were elements we recognised and elements we didn't but it covered breathing, exercise and relaxation and was a good start to the day.
A phone call to the Indian Embassy and Farida's visa is still being processed. After a bit of a discussion with the lady on the other end, we establish that they can't give us any idea how long it will take as its with the relevant body in India and so is out of their hands. We can, however, leave the country and come back if we like so we begin to consider whether this is feasible. We are loving Nepal but don't really want to spend two of our twelve months here. Unfortunately its even harder to get into Bhutan or Tibet unless you go with an organised tour so they aren't really an option. The only thing we could do is get a flight which becomes expensive ... lets just hope the visa is issued before 10 December.
After breakfast we head off to our new hotel. Our current guest house now offers us the room we've been staying in for the same price as the new place ... typical! Its only down the road and we've said we're coming so we say we'll have one night there and decide which we like better. After checking into the new place we wander into town again and speak to a few places about paragliding and rafting ... we'll decide later which, if any, we do. Money is the main consideration unfortunately or we'd do it all!
In the evening, we find a small open air cinema. Its run by a Spanish and English guy and they show movies everyday from the garden of a guest house. We watch Kill Bill 2 with a beer and some tapas style food ... nice.
Back to the new hotel where they have told us we have to be back by 11pm! Think we'll go back to the old place tomorrow.
